| June 2010 Update Summer is here and the hot weather and cooling afternoon rains along with it. All Board members were present at our June meeting. As usual, it was a very productive meeting. Highlights of the meeting were: • Our financial position continues to be positive with expenses staying in line with budget. • Ninety-four percent of all fees had been collected as of the end of May 2010. Nineteen unit/weeks are in foreclosure and the Association owns seventeen unit/weeks. • The resort sign will be replaced. Board members will review proposals at the October Board meeting. • Dining tables will be replaced. Jean is getting bids and pictures to present to the Board at the October meeting. • The projects to modernize the elevator and bring it and the alarm equipment up to code is complete. Our elevator works better than ever! • The spa must be brought into compliance with new code by July 1, 2011. Bids are being obtained. • One barbeque grill was replaced. • Bedroom doors to the lanais are being replaced as needed. • Kitchen tables and chairs in the 2-bedroom units will be replaced. • We are researching ideas to better use our property near the road and park. • All boats are in good working order. Seats were refurbished on boats #4 and #5. • The Board approved repainting the unit interiors with a color other than white. Management will prepare two units, one completely repainted and one with one accent wall repainted, for the Board members to review before the October meeting.
